39-Year-Old Accused Of Slashing Tires In Northern Westchester A 39-year-old man has been charged after authorities said he slashed two tires in Northern Westchester. The Ossining man was arrested on a charge of third-degree criminal mischief, according to an announcement from the Yorktown Police Department on Friday, Jan. 28. The man's identity was not released. Car Crashes Into Dry Cleaners In Northern Westchester A car crashed into the front of a Northern Westchester dry cleaners, taking out the entire window. The incident took place around 6 p.m., on Wednesday, May 1, when the sedan plowed into the front of the Greenest Organic Cleaners, in Ossining, said Ossining Police. According to Ossining Chief Kevin Sylvester, the driver simply stepped on the wrong pedal and plowed into the business on North Highland Avenue. No one was reported injured.

Man Stabbed During Altercation At Apartment Parking Lot In Northern Westchester, Police Say A man was seriously wounded after being stabbed during a fight over a parking space in Northern Westchester. The incident took place around 10 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 1, in the parking lot of Cortlandt Ridge Apartments (formerly Claremont Gardens), in Ossining, Ossining Police said on Facebook.  When Ossining officers responded, they found one victim with a significant laceration, apparently from a bladed weapon, police said.
