Three From Northern Westchester Charged With DWI By State Police Over July 4th Holiday More than two dozen motorists were taken off the road by New York State Police troopers for alleged impaired driving in the Hudson Valley over the holiday weekend. Between Thursday, July 4 and Monday, July 8, troopers arrested 28 motorists for DWIs as part of a holiday enforcement detail. Local residents charged include: Westchester County On Saturday, July 6, State Police from Cortlandt arrested Elvis A. Alvarado Siguenza, 24, of Ossining, for DWI. Driver Won't Be Charged In Crash That Killed Mother, Child Near Area Diner A 53-year-old man whose SUV crashed into a mother and her 10-month-old son crossing a street near an area diner will not face any charges in the incident in which the two were killed, according to the New York State Police. State police said Tuesday they have concluded their investigation into Sunday's fatal motor vehicle accident and have determined the vehicle’s operator, Robert Mahone of Fishkill, who remained at the scene immediately after the collision, was not speeding, was not impaired by drugs or alcohol, leading to no charges or traffic citations.
