Children Get Locked In Car At Pool In Northern Westchester A local father received a scare after his kids accidentally got locked in the car when they were trying to beat the recent heat at the North Castle Town Pool. The North Castle Police Department received a report shortly after 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 6, where a man reported that his children had found themselves locked inside a black Ford Escape in the parking lot of the pool. Officers notified the Armonk Garage, which sent a mechanic to assist with the rescue. Police said that they were able to get inside the vehicle without any further incident and the children were “in good order.”
