Police Locate Car In Crash That Killed Danbury Man Police have located a car that hit and killed a Connecticut man and then fled the scene. The crash took place in Litchfield County around 5:11 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 8, in New Milford. Fairfield County resident Galo Rafael Guaman-Sarmiento, age 61, of Danbury, was crossing Danbury Road when he was struck by a 2013-2016 black Ford Fusion, said the New Milford Police. The driver, who has not been found, fled the scene, and Guaman-Sarmiento was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Police have been searching for the Fusion since the crash and located it on Saturday, Nov. 12, police said. …

Mom Finds Son Murdered In Area Home A man whose mother thought he committed suicide was the victim of a homicide, according to police. The unidentified 42-year-old man was found around 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 11, when a resident of Apollo Road, returned home and found her son dead, said the Bethel Police Department. Police responded to the scene and determined that the death was a homicide and a suspect was quickly identified, said the Bethel Police.
