Westchester County PD Officer Injured When Cruiser Rear-Ended By Drunk Driver, Police Say A Westchester County Police officer was hospitalized over the weekend after an alleged drunk and unlicensed driver lost control and rear-ended his patrol car while he was on a Bronx River Parkway exit ramp in Yonkers. An officer was stopped on the shoulder of the ramp at approximately 1:50 a.m. on Sunday, April 7, Westchester County Police spokesman Kieran O’Leary said.
