17-Year-Old Intentionally Hits Man With Car In Westchester, Drives Away A 17-year-old boy was arrested after intentionally hitting a 43-year-old pedestrian with a car in Westchester and then driving away, police said.  The incident happened on Wednesday, May 31 just before 10:30 p.m., when police responded to the area of 149 North Ave. in New Rochelle on a report of a car hitting a pedestrian before leaving the scene, according to New Rochelle Captain J. Collins Coyne.  Once arriving, authorities found a 43-year-old New Rochelle resident who had suffered serious injuries. Two Seriously Injured In Multi-Vehicle Somers Crash Two people were seriously injured during a multiple-vehicle crash in Northern Westchester that shut down Route 100.  The crash took place around 4:15 p.m., Tuesday, July 20, on Route 100 in Twin Knolls in Somers. Somers Fire/EMS responded to the crash and found a four-vehicle crash with numerous patients and heavy damage to two of the vehicles, the department said.
