Police: Man Forced Ex To Write Check, Then Forcibly Stole Vehicle In Northern Westchester
A Putnam Valley man is in police custody after stealing a car and forcing his victim to cut him a check in Westchester County, police said. New York State Police troopers were dispatched to Paulding Lane in Cortlandt on Thursday, Nov. 29, where there was a report of a stolen vehicle and money. Police said that the investigation into the stolen vehicle determined that Kyle Heady, 29, arrived at the home of a former romantic partner and forcibly stole his victim’s car.
