Route 1 Road Closure Scheduled
Route 1 will be temporarily closed for several hours in the area to allow contracting crews time to continue maintenance in the area. The New York State Department of Transportation announced that there will be a road closure in both directions in Port Chester on Boston Post Road between Slater Street and Grace Street Church on Tuesday, Oct. 8. The work is expected to last between approximately 8 p.m. and 4 a.m. the following morning. During the project, motorists can expect possible delays in the area.
