Federal Employee From Danbury Admits To Smuggling Phones, Contraband Into Prison A former employee at the Federal Correctional Institute in Danbury has admitted to smuggling mobile phones and contraband into the prison after being busted by a supervisor. Eric Williams, 38, of Danbury, pleaded guilty in Bridgeport federal court to one count of providing contraband in prison after he was caught trying to sneak it inside FCI Danbury inside his hat.
