Bomb Threat Made To Dover Schools An 'Unfounded Prank,' Sheriff Says The investigation into a pair of bomb threats that forced the evacuation of all four schools of the Dover Union Free School District was determined to be an “unfounded prank,” according to the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators from the Sheriff’s Office and New York State Police were dispatched to the Dover High School at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning, when two non-specific bomb threats were made over the phone.
