Two Hospitalized After Crash On Candlewood Lake Road Two people were injured following a two-vehicle crash in Fairfield County. The crash took place around 6:45 p.m., Monday, Feb. 24, at the intersection of Candlewood Lake Road and Huckleberry Hill Road in Brookfield, said the Brookfield Volunteer Fire Company. At the time of the crash, a member of the fire department witnessed the event and immediately called for assistance. When firefighters arrived on the scene they found two occupants trapped in a vehicle, the department said. Six Injured In Two-Car Route 7 Rollover Crash Two vehicles collided and both subsequently rolled over, with a total of six injuries reported in a serious crash on Route 7 North in Brookfield on Saturday, Feb. 10. The Brookfield Volunteer Fire Company requested the assistance of Danbury for a serious motor vehicle crash.
