Body Found After Weeks-Long Search For Missing Man In Candlewood Lake, Officials Report The Connecticut State Police Dive Team has recovered the body amid a search for a 24-year-old man who went missing in a lake last month. The 24-year-old man was reported missing on Sunday, May 29, after he went from a vessel into Candlewood Lake, the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection reported. Fatal Pedestrian Crash Leads To Road Closure In Area Route 25 in Brookfield has reopened to traffic after being closed for more than four hours following a fatal crash involving a pedestrian. According to the Brookfield Police, the roadway was closed for hours as the department's Major Crash Investigation Team worked the crash scene. 16-Year-Old Arrested After Brookfield Social Media Threat A 16-year-old Brookfield High School student has been arrested for posting a threat on social media posing with a gun and saying something might happen at the school.
