New Update: ID Released Of Woman Found Dead By River In Westchester The identity of a woman who was found dead by the banks of a river in Westchester has been released by authorities.  A woman identified as 28-year-old Nicosha Gayle of the Bronx was found on the banks of the Bronx River in Yonkers on Monday morning, May 1 a little after 10 a.m., according to Westchester County Police Public Information Officer Kieran O'Leary. Westchester Woman Faces Drug Charge After Car Crashes Into River A 41-year-old Westchester woman is facing a drug charge following a crash on the Bronx River Parkway that sent a car crashing into the Bronx River. Members of the Yonkers Fire Department were dispatched at approximately 6:15 p.m. on Monday afternoon to the Bronx River Parkway northbound lanes, near the Sprain Brook Parkway split, when a car went off the road and landed in the river, prompting an emergency rescue.
