Stretch Of North Salem Roadway To Be Closed For Months

A monthslong closure has been announced for a stretch of a roadway in Northern Westchester County.

The New York State Department of Transportation advised motorists that Route 116 in North Salem will be closed to traffic between Baxter Road/Keeler Road and Titicus Road/Peach Lake Road.

The closure will be from Monday, July 15, through Monday, Sept.16, to facilitate a culvert replacement.

Motorists should follow the posted detour as an alternate.
