North Salem Middle School, Principal Earn State Honor

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. – North Salem Middle School and its principal, Patricia Cyganovich, have been rated as exemplary for the third time by the New York State-administered program Essential Elements Schools To Watch, according to a New York State Department of Education statement.

Schools chosen have been judged to “adhere to a rigorous set of criteria” and are considered “on a pathway of continuous improvement.”

The program is a joint venture of the New York State Department of Education, the New York State Middle School Association, the Statewide Network of Middle Level Liaisons and New York State United Teachers.
