Woman Charged With DWI After Route 22 Traffic Violation

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- A Yorktown Heights woman was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Friday by a Putnam County Deputy, said Putnam County Sheriff Donald Smith.

Deputy Sheriff Kevin Radovich stopped Theresa C. Brush, 51, of Yorktown Heights, on several traffic violations. The deputy was quickly able to determine that Brush was intoxicated and arrested her after she failed a field a series of field sobriety tests, police said.

Brush was charged with driving while intoxicated was held at the Putnam County Correctional Facility pending arraignment.
