Owoo was taken into custody later the same day at his North Salem home by members of the sheriff’s office, assisted by New York State Police. The 17-year-old was also taken into custody. They were arraigned before Brewster Village Justice Richard O’Rourke and remanded to Putnam County Correctional Facility in lieu of $75,000 bail or a $150,000 secured bond.

They are scheduled to appear at the Southeast Justice Court at 1 p.m. on July 19. In addition, orders of protection were issued on behalf of the victims.
