NORTH SALEM, N.Y. - On Saturday, December 24 at approximately 1:05 a.m., New York State Police, Somers barracks, arrested and charged Nina Tocantis, 50, of North Salem with driving while intoxicated.
Tocantis was stopped on Interstate 684 for vehicle and traffic violations and appeared to be intoxicated, police said. Tocantis refused to submit to a blood-alcohol test. She was issued uniform traffic tickets and is scheduled appear in North Salem Town Court on January 9 at 7 p.m.
