Monday, May 21

Foundation for Learning's Golf Outing: The Foundation’s Third Annual Golf Outing takes place at the Centennial Golf Club, 185 John Simpson Road, Carmel. Activity begins at 11 a.m. with registration and driving range time, followed by a shotgun start at 1 p.m. A cocktail reception begins at 5 p.m., with dinner to follow. Tuesday, May 22

Mother Goose Storytime: 10:30 a.m. Children from newborns to 2½-year-olds are invited to come with their caregivers to the Ruth Keeler Library to listen to some Mother Goose stories. The library is at 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.

North Salem Town Board Meeting: 7:30 p.m. The Town Board will meet at the North Salem Town House Annex, 274 Titicus Road, North Salem.

North Salem Middle School Vocal Concert: 8 p.m. Students of the North Salem Middle School will present a vocal concert. The Middle/High School is at 230 June Road.

Wednesday, May 23

Family Stories and Crafts: 10:30 a.m. Stories and crafts for all ages are offered weekly at the Ruth Keeler Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.

Wednesday Block Party: 11 a.m. The library supplies the blocks, children supply the imagination. The party takes place every Wednesday at the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.

Thursday, May 24

Puppets with Elizabeth: 10:30 a.m. Children of all ages are invited to learn about puppets and see a show at the Ruth Keeler Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.

Spring into Katonah: A Celebration of the Senses: 6:30 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. An evening celebrating the sights, tastes and landmarks of Katonah will feature exhibits and displays by Katonah’s cultural institutions, food and wine tastings from Katonah restaurants and shops, and live music by Gerard Carelli. The event takes place at the Lasdon Park and Arboretum, Route 35 in Somers. Admission is $20 per person. The rain date is May 31. For further information call (914) 864-7268.

Twelfth Night: It’s the opening night of Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night” at the Schoolhouse Theater. Penny Cherns, head of the classical acting department at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art has come across the big pond to direct the play. Performances will continue Thursdays through Sundays until June 10. Tickets are $33 on Thursdays and Fridays, $35 on Saturdays and Sundays.
