Mother Goose Storytime: 10:30 a.m. Children from newborns to 2½ years old are invited to come with their caregivers to the library to listen to Mother Goose stories. Ruth Keeler Memorial Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.

Booster Club meeting: 7:30 p.m. The Booster Club will meet in the North Salem High School Home Rec Room. North Salem Middle/High School, 230 June Road, North Salem.

Northern Westchester College Fair: 6 to 9 p.m. High School students are invited to the area’s New York State-sponsored college fair for a chance to speak to admissions representatives from many colleges and learn about campus life, academic programs, financial aid and admissions requirements. The New York Higher Education Services Corp. will have a booth offering the latest financial aid information and answers to your questions. Fox Lane High School, Route 172, Bedford.

North Salem Planning Board meeting: 7:30 p.m. Among the items on the agenda is a continuation of the public hearing on the Salem Hunt/Bridleside affordable housing project on June Road. The Planning Board will meet in the North Salem Town Hall Annex at 274 Titicus Road, North Salem.

North Salem Board of Education meeting: 7:30 p.m. The Board of Education will meet in the library of North Salem Middle/High School, 230 June Road, North Salem.

Thursday, May 3

Puppets with Elizabeth: 10:30 a.m. Children of all ages are invited to learn about puppets and see a show at the Ruth Keeler Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.

Bagels & Books: 10:30 a.m. This month’s book discussion will focus on Charles Dickens’ "David Copperfield," in honor of the author’s bicentennial birthday. Free. Ruth Keeler Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.

National English Honor Society induction breakfast: 7 to 9 a.m. This annual breakfast ceremony will honor selected students and faculty for past and current accomplishments in the study of English. This event was postponed from Thursday, April 19. North Salem Middle/High School cafeteria, 230 June Road.
