Friday noon - 6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. - 7 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

It’s the 40th Anniversary of the Putnam County 4-H Fair, featuring a plant sale, educational and environmental exhibits, a games tent, a discovery depot tent, lots of entertainment, plenty of food including a chicken BBQ and animals -- lots and lots of animals. Muscoot’s 4-H Gang will be there, too. Admission is free.

Saturday 10:30 a.m. Paper-Making Workshop

For children ages 3 and older, a chance to use natural fibers and recycled materials to create handmade paper. Tickets: $5

Saturday 6 p.m. Musical Journeys - Gates open at 5 p.m.

In the last of the summer concerts on the lawn at Lasdon, the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra will play Mendelssohn’s Hebrides Overture and Italian Symphony and Bach’s Orchestral Suite #3 in D Major. Bring your picnic dinner and your blankets or chairs and enjoy this season’s finale. Tickets: $7 - $17, children under 5, free.

This time it’s kids in grades 1 through 5 in a musical adaptation of the J. M. Barrie classic. Tickets: $10 - $12
