Sunday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

You can start your tour at either location to see a few of Westchester’s most exciting private gardens. Directions to a third garden will be provided when you arrive. The third garden, in Cortlandt Manor, will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tickets: $5 per garden, children under 12 are free.

Folk musician Black has recorded with Art Garfunkel, John Sebastian, Richie Havens, PDQ Bach and a great variety of other talents. Paul Winter said of Marc Black, “His songs are great and his singing is superb.” Tickets: $25

Friday 8 p.m. Encounters: Kahane and Weilerstein

Singer-songwriter Gabriel Kahane and cellist Alisa Weilerstein meld their talents to create an evening of passionate and eclectic music. Tickets: $30 - $40.

Saturday 8 p.m. Orchestra and More

The Orchestra of St. Luke’s, with guests, violinist Jennifer Koh and cellist Alisa Weilerstein, will perform Beethoven’s Overture to Egmont, Brahms’ Concerto in A minor, Op. 102, and Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 4 in A Major (The Italian Symphony). Spanish maestro, Pablo Heras-Cased will conduct. Tickets: $16 - $67.

Sunday 4:30 p.m. Prizing the Pulitzer, Part II

Pulitzer Prize-winning music performed by a chamber group including Paul Lustig Dunkel on flute, Susie Park on violin, Joshua Roman on cello, and several other equally talented musicians. Conducted by Michael Barrett. Tickets: $16 - $46

Alternative: Enjoy the concert al fresco, with a picnic on the lawn. Tickets: $10

Saturday 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. The 53rd Annual Country Auction

People wait in groups at the barrier until opening time. Then they rush up the driveway, already immersed in auction fever. By the end of the day, everything is gone. Items are on sale until noon, then the auction bidding begins. No entry fee.
