The Address Will Stay CBS For North Salem's David Letterman

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- David Letterman will continue to spend his late nights on CBS.

The North Salem resident and longtime host of "The Late Show With David Letterman," extended his contract with the network through 2015, according to a press release issue by CBS. The 66-year-old Letterman has been at CBS since 1993.

“There is only one Dave, and we are extremely proud that he continues to call CBS ‘home,’ ” CBS CEO Leslie Moonves stated in the press release.

Quipped Letterman: “Les and I had a lengthy discussion, and we both agreed that I needed a little more time to fully run the show into the ground."
