SOMERS, N.Y. - There is a lovely weekend coming up, according to Accuweather.com. Friday will be partly cloudy with a high of 83, but there is a good chance of thunderstorms in the early evening.
By mid-afternoon on Saturday the temperature will reach 90 degrees, but the humidity will be moderate and the sun will be bright but not blazing.
Sunday brings a high of 86. The sun will be brighter and humidity will increase as the day wears on. There is a chance of showers in the late evening.
Accuweather.com gives the weather a 10 for barbecuing and golf and it is almost as enthusiastic about swimming, sailing and fishing. Man's best friend's walk will be very good, rather than excellent. It will be a little too warm for extended exercise.
Mosquitoes will be dozing but dust and dander are eagerly waiting to attack allergy sufferers. Asthmatics may be a little uncomfortable on Friday.
Planning to repair that fence, wash down that patio or pull some weeds? The weather is on your side.
