NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- Ruth Keeler Memorial Library has announced that North Salem resident Richard Vail has won the Library Fair Poster Contest.
"I'm old enough to remember when the library was built," said Vail. "I always loved the building and my visits there. The Ruth Keeler Memorial Library has always been a special place for me, and it probably had some influence on my choice to become an architect."
The library received many submissions from local residents and from Ms. Marinovic's class at North Salem High School.
The posters are on display in the children's room in the library
The North Salem Review of Art, Photography and Literature is now accepting submissions for the next issue. The deadline for submission is Saturday, May 31. Visit http://ruthkeelermemoriallibrary.org/ for guidelines on how to submit.
