North Salem Grad, Christopher Brink, Dies

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. - Christopher Brink, 24, a graduate of North Salem High School, died unexpectedly on Friday, July 22. He worked as a conductor on the Metro-North Railroad and devoted his spare time to volunteer work for the Croton Falls and Brewster Fire Departments. He was also an Emergency Medical Technician for the Westchester and Putnam Emergency Medical Services.

He is survived by his parents, Elizabeth Brink of Brewster, and William Brink of North Salem, as well as his brother, Andrew, and sisters, Jessica and Kayli, all of Brewster.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster (845) 279-3615. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church, 31 Prospect Street, Brewster, followed by interment at Peach Pond Cemetery, North Salem.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brewster Volunteer Fire Department.
