NORTH SALEM - Despite some earlier showers, the sun smiled down on Caramoor as 109 North Salem High School Seniors filed down the aisle to the traditional accompaniment of Pomp and Circumstance, played by the North Salem High School Band.
Parents and friends joined the Senior Madrigals in singing the National Anthem. The weather continued dry and comfortably cool through the Salutatory Address by graduating student James Batchelder, the Valedictory Address by Ethan Bassin and the Graduation Address by North Salem Principal, Dr. Patricia Cyganovich. Dr. Cyganovich also presented various awards to dozens of graduates.
Finally, the moment of glory -- the Presentation of Diplomas to the 109 young people who are about to take the next step in life.
