Croton Falls Bridge Repair Goes Full Steam Ahead

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- The $2.3 million makeover and expansion of the Croton Falls Bridge connecting North Salem and Somers was recently profiled by LoHud.com.

The project, which began in August, will give the bridge two 12-foot lanes, each 18 inches wider than what had been there, plus shoulders and a sidewalk for pedestrians.

The project is expected to be completed by August 2014.
