NORTH SALEM, N.Y. Veneranda Cesta, 91, formerly of North Salem, died April 6 in Woodbury, Minn. A resident of North Salem from 1961 to 2001, she worked as assistant court clerk for the town.
She was born Sep. 15, 1920 in the Bronx, N.Y. Married to Carmen F. Cesta, she previously worked for Paramount Pictures and Bell Telephone Co.
Veneranda Cesta is survived by a son, Michael Cesta; and a granddaughter. She was predeceased by her husband and a grandchild.
A private burial will be held for family. Memorial donations may be made to Westchester Medical Center, Maria Fareri Children's Hospital, 100 Woods Road, Valhalla, NY 10595.
