NORTH SALEM, N.Y. – Two Meatballs, the North Salem pizzeria that won The Daily Voice poll for “Best Burger in the North Salem Area,” is adding another dimension to its bill of fare.
Beginning on Saturday, June 8, you are invited to join friends and neighbors in the Amphitheater in front of the restaurant for an Open Mic session between the hours of 8 and 10 p.m.
Singers, instrumentalists, comedians and anyone with entertaining talent is welcome to participate. The evening will be emceed by North Salem’s Roman Tytla, aka Rooftop Screamer, a professional performer who mentored the Middle/High School’s Rock Star Fantasy Show in January. Each performer is limited to three songs, or a 15-minute routine. A basic PA system with two microphones will be provided, along with a keyboard amp and a guitar amp.
Audience members are asked to BYOB and bring lawn chairs. In case of rain, the event will be held inside the restaurant. Two Meatballs is in the Salem Center Shopping at 60 June Road, between the North Salem Post Office and the M&T Bank.
