North Salem's Grasso Re-Elected Dhasny President

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. – North Salem’s Robin Grasso has been re-elected to the presidency of the Dental Hygienists' Association of the State of New York (DHASNY).

Grasso, who earned an AAS (Associate of Arts and Sciences) degree in Dental Hygiene from the Hudson Valley Community College, has served on the Board of Directors of the DHASNY and is very active in volunteer community service related to her field. She is employed as a clinical dental hygienist at the dental offices of Jeffrey Rubinstein, DDS, in Bedford and Andrew Moskowitz, DDS, in Purdys.

Dental hygiene is a preventive measure, focused on avoiding the development of oral problems and illnesses. Part of the hygienist’s job is to educate people in preventive care. Dental hygienists are licensed by the New York State Board of Regents.
