NORTH SALEM, N.Y. - Whether you are planning to remodel, you like to cook, or you just like to gaze in envy, sign up for the five-house kitchen tour on Friday, Sept. 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door of any kitchen on the itinerary. At the first kitchen you visit, you will be given a map to guide you around the others.
Styles vary and while some homeowners designed their own and others called in professionals, each one is outstanding. The tour has been an annual event in North Salem for about seven years and there has not been a repeat kitchen yet.
The five kitchens on the tour this year are at: The Corde residence in Salem Chase, the Holtzer residence on Hawley Road, the Lev residence and Caporale-Greene Residence on Titicus Road and Duck Hill on Baxter Road.
