WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – Harley is a handsome American bull terrier mix and a great boy who is looking for a home in Westchester County.

He is 3 years old and has lost the only family he has ever known. When they fell on hard times, Harley ended up at the shelter. 

He’s loved by everyone, and has many volunteer friends who take him for rides in the car to McDonald’s for his favorite treat. He has the saddest eyes because he is waiting for a new family to call his own.

Don’t let Harley's cropped ears fool you. They may give the first impression of a tough guy - he’s anything but.

Dogs are viewable at the Putnam Humane Society from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily.
