Monday, Oct. 22

Kids’ Book Group at the Library: 4 p.m. Children in grades four and five are invited to discuss “Frindle” buy Andrew Clements. Bring a friend and enjoy refreshments while you discuss the book. It’s at the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.

Tuesday, Oct. 23

Children’s Events at the Keeler: 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Events begin with Mother Goose Story Time at 10:30, followed later by the Children’s Craft Hour at 4 p.m. It’s at the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.

Wednesday, Oct. 24

Block Party: 11 a.m. It’s the weekly block party at the library. Children of all ages are invited to come and begin construction with Legos, Duplos and other materials. It’s at the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.

Open House at Kennedy Catholic: 7 to 9 p.m. Kennedy Catholic High School will hold an open house for prospective students. The school is at 54 Route 138 in Somers.

Thursday, Oct. 25

Puppets with Elizabeth: 10:30 a.m. This popular event will continue every Thursday at 10:30 until the end of the year. It’s at the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library, 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.

Coffee with the PQ Principal: 9-10 a.m. Parents or guardians are invited to a coffee klatsch with Principal Johnson to get to know each other and to talk about what’s happening at Pequenakonck Elementary School. It’s in the multi-purpose room of the PQ School, 173 June Road, North Salem.

Decorate a Trick-or-Treat Bag: 4 p.m. It's time for Halloween fun at the library. The event is co-sponsored by the North Salem Recreation Department. Contact the library to register. The Ruth Keeler Memorial Library is at 276 Titicus Road, North Salem.
