“Red Hot Lovers” Opens At Croton Falls Schoolhouse Theater

CROTON FALLS, N.Y. – Croton Falls' Schoolhouse Theater will be raising its (virtual) curtain on Thursday, June 6 for the premiere performance of Neil Simon’s “Last of the Red Hot Lovers.”

Included in the cast, all Equity actors, are Kevin Cristaldi as the nebish Barney Cashman, Lauren Currie Lewis as Bobbie Michele, Helen Greenberg as Jeanette Fisher and Anette Michelle Sanders as Elaine Navazio. As usual, the play will be directed by Artistic Director Pamela Moller Kareman.

“The Last of the Red Hot Lovers,” starring James Coco, ran for a year and a half on Broadway. The movie version starred Alan Arkin. The Schoolhouse will present evening performances on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and matinees on Sundays. The final (virtual) curtain drops on June 30.

The newly refurbished Schoolhouse Theater is located at 3 Owens Road, Croton Falls, just off Exit 8 of I-684 (Hardscrabble Road.)
