North Salem's Ruth Keeler Library Hosts Events For Community

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- Ruth Keeler Library will be hosting a variety of community events including a rock star fantasy show through February. 

Here is a schedule of events:

North Salem Rock Star Fantasy Show 2: Featuring No Clue, Balanced Rock and special guests. Friday, Jan. 31 and Saturday, Feb. 1 at  7 p.m. at the North Salem Middle School and High Schools. North Salem Chamber of Commerce and Somers Chamber of Commerce Joint Meeting: "How to grow your business by understanding your business financials" with Steve Bender, CPA. RSVP: info@northsalemchamber.org. Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 6 p.m.  at Mama Rosa's in Somers.

North Salem Volunteer Ambulance Corps 2014 Winter Gala at Salem Golf Club:  Saturday, March 1 at 6 p.m. Cocktails, dinner, raffle, silent auction and dancing with live music. $85/person, $160/couple.

Teatown's Hudson River EagleFest: Saturday, Feb. 8 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. at Croton Point Park. Featuring eagle shows and bird walks, bus tours, children's activities and more.                                  Author Talk and Book Signing by Dick Button: Sunday, Feb. 9 at 3 p.m. Have a glass of wine and meet the author. Dick Button, North Salem resident and winner of two Olympic gold medals in figure skating, award-winning sports broadcaster and graduate of Harvard and Harvard Law School will talk about his new book,  "Push Dick's Button: A Conversation on Skating from a Good Part of the Last Century -- and a Little Tomfoolery."
