Yanagi is a strong supporter of the Hammond Museum and a noted member of the Japanese Cultural community. He has done much to support the traditions of Japanese culture at the Hammond Museum, including the donation of the Japanese tea room installed inside the Hammond Library Mansion.

The event will include selected cuisines by Chef Nobuyuki Shikanai of the Kanoyama Japanese Restaurant and the celebrity Chef Nisa Lee of Nisa Lee Events. Japanese musician Yumi Kurosawa will perform a special concert for the audience with her famous 20 string Koto.

The evening will conclude with a silent auction with a special selection of Japanese ceramics from the Yanagi Oriental Fine Arts Collection, submitted as a charity donation to the Hammond Museum by Yanagi for bidding without reserve.

Reservations are required. Member reservations are $145 per person and non-member reservations are $170 per person.

The Hammond Museum is at 28 Deveau Road, North Salem.
