NORTH SALEM, N.Y. – A book club for girls age 13 and older will start Saturday at 5 p.m. at the The Ruth Keeler Memorial Library, 276 Titicus Road.
Each month the group will read a book, watch the movie together and talk about the differences over snacks. Organized by Analisa Posa as part of her Girl Scout gold award, the group is open to all, but registration is preferred.
The library has copies of the books for everyone.
“The Perks of Being a Wallflower” by Stephen Chbosky will be the first book discussed Saturday.
“The Maze Runner” by James Dashner is the October book selection; date for discussion will be announced at a later date.
