North Salem Girl Scouts Battle In 'Mother-Daughter Cupcake Wars'

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- North Salem High School's cafeteria will be a battleground for the Mother-Daughter Cupcake Wars on Feb. 5.

Sponsored by Girl Scout Troop 2951, the wars will take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. 

Combatants are to provide creativity, while the contest will provide the mystery box and cupcakes. 

Registration is $20 for a mother/daughter pair and $5 for each additional girl. The deadline for registration is Jan. 29. 

To register, make a check payable to GSHH Troop 2951 and mail to Kathy Daigneault, 343 Starr Ridge Road, Brewster, NY 10509.

Participants can bring cameras and phones for selfie photo stations.
