Hammond Museum Hosts Blessing Of The Animals

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- The 51st Annual Blessing of the Animals and Land will take place on Sunday, May 1 at Hammond Museum from 3 to 4 p.m.

Each year in the spring, the Hammond Museum hosts a special Blessing of the Animals to celebrate and honor animal friends.

Please bring your pets: dogs, cats, horses or other dear animal friends to share a blessing by a group of various faith ministers to celebrate life in the serenity of the Japanese Stroll Garden.

The doors will open by 2:30pm and the ceremony will start promptly at 3 p.m. Admission is Free. The event will commence rain or shine.
