Croton Falls Schoolhouse Theater Screens 'Beautiful People'

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. – Croton Falls’ Schoolhouse Theater will present a screening of the heartwarming documentary, “Beautiful People,” the story of a group of musicians who have gathered weekly for many years at Dempsey’s Pub in Manhattan to play Irish music.

The film is built around interviews with 10 of the regular musicians, although sometimes as many as 50 musicians show up to share their love of the traditional music.

A talk-back session with the film’s producer/editor, Sam Adelman, will follow the screening.

Tickets are $10 each and can be reserved by calling the box office at 914-277-8477. The freshly renovated Schoolhouse Theater is located at 3 Owens Road, Croton Falls.
