Man Jumps To His Death From Bridge On Hudson Valley Parkway A Westchester County man who jumped to his death from the AMVETS Memorial Bridge off the Taconic State Parkway has been identified, according to the New York State Police. Xiaohu Liu, 53, of Briarcliff Manor was recovered by the Yorktown Heights Fire Department marine unit around 1 p.m. Sunday from the Croton Reservoir, said Trooper A.J. Hicks, public information officer for Troop K. Although the event remains under investigation, Hicks said Liu’s death is “consistent with suicide.”
