Erratic Driving: Man Charged After Woman Killed In Rockland Crash A woman died after her car was hit by a vehicle operated by a man allegedly driving erratically in the Hudson Valley. The crash took place in Rockland County in Central Nyack around 7:15 p.m., Tuesday, May 30 on Route 59 in the area of Broome Boulevard. According to Det. Shots Fired Incident Under Investigation In Area An investigation is underway after reports of gunshots being fired on a roadway in the area. Just before 8:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1, officers in Rockland County from the Clarkstown Police Department responded to the area of Waldron Avenue and Toto Court in Central Nyack.  Officers found a number of fired shell casings in the roadway, according to the Clarkstown Police Department.  No victims or suspects have been identified. Two men were nabbed with the help of the Clarkstown Police Department's drone after fleeing two hit-and-run crashes.
