Four Orange County Businesses Nabbed Selling Booze To Minor, Police Say Four Hudson Valley businesses were busted for selling alcohol to a minor during a sting operation. The operation took place in Orange County in New Windsor and Newburgh on Thursday, June 9. During the operation, New Windsor police conducted an underage alcohol sale enforcement detail at 23 businesses in town that are licensed to sell alcoholic beverages, said Chief of New Windsor Police Robert Doss. Two Store Clerks Sold Alcohol To Minors In Area, State Police Say Two store clerks were arrested for selling alcohol to minors in an undercover sting conducted by New York State Police in the area.  Employees at 15 stores were tested by underage volunteers, accompanied by plainclothes troopers, attempting to purchase alcohol on Thursday, Aug. 20.  An employee of Sunoco Gas Station at 3195 State Route 22 in Dover Plains, 60-year-old Khaliluddin Khan, failed the test, and was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the town of Dover Court next month.  Also in Dover Plains, 45-year-old Wendy Huzzy of Millbrook was caught selling alcoho…

Rockland Mini-Mart Clerk Busted Selling Booze To Teen, Police Say A 25-year-old clerk at a Suffern deli is facing charges after allegedly selling alcohol to a 17-year-old old. The Suffern Police Department announced the arrest of the 25-year-old clerk - whose name was not released on Tuesday afternoon - from the Rockland Mini Mart on Lafayette Avenue after the minor was spotted with the alcohol. According to police, the officer on patrol observed the teenager with alcohol in his possession in the business district of Suffern, which led to an investigation, that determined it was illegally purchased at the Mini Mart.
