Level 3 Sex Offender Reports Move Near Elementary School In Area
A registered Level 3 sex offender has moved into a residence in the shadow of a Hudson Valley elementary school. Calvin Buford, a designated sexually violent offender, has moved into an Elizabeth Street residence in Kingston, a stone's throw away from George Washington Elementary School, which is approximately .1 miles away, according to Google Maps. A registered "sexually violent" offender convicted of raping a woman has reported a move into Orange County. The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert this week to Orange County residents regarding the residency of 67-year-old Andrew Bates, who has moved to an address on Broadway in Newburgh. A registered "sexually violent" offender convicted of sexually abusing an 8-year-old girl has reported a move out of Orange County and into southern Westchester.
