Double-Lane Closures Scheduled On Route 44/55 There will be overnight double-lane closures on Route 44/55 in Poughkeepsie for the foreseeable future. The New York State Department of Transportation announced that there will be lane closures in Poughkeepsie eastbound between Route 376 (Raymond Avenue) and Fowler Avenue, beginning on Monday, Nov. 4, "until further notice." Each night, the closures will span from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following morning in advance of rush hour.
