New York State Police troopers in the Hudson Valley busted several more motorists who were allegedly driving while impaired over the past week-plus. The local residents charged were: Orange County On Friday, Nov. 14, State Police troopers in Middletown arrested Roman Zawojski, 24, of Chester, for DWI. He was traveling on East Main Street in Middletown when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Man Charged After Years-Long Investigation Into Town Of Newburgh House Fire
A 52-year-old man has been charged following a years-long investigation into a suspicious 2013 house fire in the Town of Newburgh, police announced Sunday. The fire occurred at a home on Route 32 in October, 2013. The four-and-a-half-year investigation ended with the arrest of Alejandro Perez of Newburgh, said Lt. James Nenni of the Town of Newburgh PD. Perez was charged with insurance fraud in the third degree and attempted grand larceny in the third degree, both felonies. A pair of Orange County residents were among nearly a dozen busted for DWI as State and local law enforcement agencies continue their concerted efforts to curtail intoxicated drivers in the Hudson Valley as part of a national crackdown. Six Orange County Motorists Charged With DWI In Weekend Stops
Seven area motorists were among more than two dozen busted for driving while impaired over the weekend as State and local law enforcement agencies continue making a concerted effort to curtail intoxicated drivers in the Hudson Valley as part of a statewide crackdown. Newburgh Man Charged With DWI After Route 32 Stop
A Hudson Valley motorist was among five busted throughout the state for driving while intoxicated overnight. Since the new year began, New York State Police and local law enforcement agencies have been “out in full force” to curtail impaired drivers in the region as part of a statewide crackdown. Among those arrested was Newburgh resident Anthony Burnett, 37, who was stopped on Route 32 in Newburgh on Thursday morning for a vehicle and traffic law violation.
