Suspect Nabbed In Newburgh TD Bank Robbery City of Newburgh police have nabbed a man wanted for the robbery of a TD Bank last week. Alexander Castineiras, 29, of Washingtonville, was arrested Tuesday following an investigation into the robbery at the bank at 800 Broadway around 10 a.m. Thursday, said Det. Lt. Joseph Burns. Castineiras, who was wearing a black hoodie that partly concealed his face, did not display a weapon, police said. He fled westbound on Broadway on foot before jumping into a white vehicle near Route 17 K and the Town of Newburgh line, Burns said.
