New York State Police troopers responded to a stretch of I-87 in Suffern at approximately 1:45 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 21, when a truck collided with a tractor-trailer, sending both off the roadway. Measles Outbreak Prompts Good Samaritan Hospital To Ban Children From Visiting With the number of measles cases in Rockland at 199 and counting, one hospital in the county has changed its visitor policy to ban children under the age of 18. Officials at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern said that any children under the age of 18, regardless of their vaccination history, are prevented from visiting the hospital, unless it's for treatment.
