Circleville Man Sentenced To Prison For Child Sex Crimes An area man has been sentenced to 15 years to life in prison in connection with sex crimes he committed against a child. Orange County resident Robert Youngs, age 36, of Circleville, was sentenced on Thursday, Dec. 16, said Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler. Youngs pleaded guilty in July to felony charges of predatory sexual assault against a child, and several counts of promoting a sexual performance by a child. The Orange County Child Abuse Unit arrested Robert Youngs, 34, of Circleville on Wednesday, Oct. 30, said the New York State Police. Youngs was arrested after a yearlong investigation stemming from a hotline call to the New York State Central Registry in 2018, said Trooper Steven Nevel. Hotline Call Leads To Arrest Of Wallkill Man For Predatory Sex Assault Following a year-long investigation, a 34-year-old man has been arrested for the predatory sexual assault of a child. The Orange County Child Abuse Unit arrested Robert Youngs, of Circleville, a hamlet of in the town of Wallkill, on Wednesday, Oct. 30, said the New York State Police. Youngs was arrested after a hotline call to the New York Central Registry in 2018 set off the investigation, Trooper Steven Nevel said.
